What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

Costs

There are some costs associated with item upgrades. The first is the upgrade itself. The cost for this upgrade can be costly and is dependent on the new value of the item and the number of perks it gets. In some cases, the upgrade will grant additional advantages that can be picked from a list of available perks.

In rare instances the upgrade will only replace the most expensive bonuses. The upgrader could also make other modifications to the item, like changing the type of damage it deals to its weapon or removing an operative or unwieldy option. These modifications are based on the item's ilvl. They may also require special materials, for instance the adamantine.

Success Rate

A Blacksmith Blessing, or an upgraded version, can be used to increase the chances of an upgrade succeeding. This item upgrader kit can be useful if your weapon or piece is nearing or has reached the highest level of its tier. This item will allow you upgrade the equipment to the next level without the risk of it breaking.

If an upgrade is unsuccessful, it will be reverted to its previous state. This is typically a break, but it can also be a downgrade. You should save an upgrade until you are nearing the highest level for an item.

Kafra has a range of items that can be utilized to increase the chance of an upgrade succeeding. You can increase your chances of success by enhancing your equipment repeatedly using HD Oridecon and HD Elunium. Also, increasing the chances to receive a Double Mint from Shoe-Minting a maximum of five times will increase the chance of success.

Failure Rate
