The Eufy S1 Pro

This is the model you need to choose if you want a robot vacuum cleaner (for beginners) that also mop. It's smaller than other models on this list, making it easier to navigate into tight corners and underneath furniture. It features a 220-degree Lidar that, combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, provides one of my top navigation and object avoidance capabilities I've seen in the form of a robotic vacuum. It packs a powerful 4600mAh battery which lasts up to 170-minutes, if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can last longer in turbo). It will even return to its dock to recharge its battery in mid-clean.

It's extremely efficient and does an outstanding job cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It vacuums the carpeted areas extremely quickly, and the hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room, and hallways in a single sweep. Its motor of 8,000pa is able to clean dirt as well as pet hair and poop effortlessly. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it comes into contact with rugs, and the dual side brushes help draw away debris from corners.

It's easy to install and is effective however, it's something you'll have to keep an eye on if you're buying this robot vacuum for the sole reason of mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It is a powerful machine for cleaning with a variety of features.

The device comes with a powerful and impressive cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensors with an RGB camera to map your home and locate furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean intelligently and effectively. This leads to an effective, consistent cleaning that's also fairly fast.

The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum with mop vacuum and mop, that is, it can do mopping and vacuuming. The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive item in our review. However, it has certain unique features that make it worth looking into. The X1 Omni is most notable for its enormous dock that doubles as an charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two water tanks that are 4 liters in size. It also houses a 2.5-liter dust bin as well as a 2.5 milliliter dust bin.

The base has several control buttons, which allow you to manually start a cleaning task and then recall the robot or use the dock's auto-emptying procedure. Press two of the buttons to turn off the child lock that is a great feature for parents who are worried about children playing with the vacuum.

The X1 Omni, like other robotic vacuums, uses its camera to identify obstacles and furniture that are in its path. It will avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system maps your home 10 times faster than laser detection systems and is four times more precise at recognizing objects.

Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni could sometimes get so entangled with an obstacle--such as the power cord that is draped across a rug--that it becomes stuck and ceases to function until you remove it manually. While this was rare however, it was a gruelling experience when it happened, especially since the X1 Omni doesn't have a "stuck" status alert on its app.

The X1 Omni is unable to automatically switch from mopping to vacuuming mode during cleaning. You'll have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad, except that the mopping pad doesn't get washed or dried between uses. This could lead to mildew and mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed its sleek modern base and mopping pad. It's a major contrast to the utilitarian, black bases of competitors like Roborock and iRobot and is a refreshing appearance in a market which is dominated by clunky, boxy units.
