What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The item upgrader adds a brand new widget at the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. This Manager costs 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no gameplay benefit other than making it easier to purchase upgrades.

Boosters

With an upgrader for your item you will be able to enjoy numerous bonuses. They can include stats, as well as additional bonuses. These bonuses can be used on weapons, armor and trinkets. Certain boosts can only be used in specific designs (such the Whistan's Shield, which is for FB Sorcs) Some are beneficial to collectors.

Some items have a built-in boos which is less useful when upgraded. For instance the Goldwrap offers an additional slots for potion. These are usually upgraded to inject more value into an item upgrader mod that is perfect or close to being perfect.

Costs

There are a few expenses related to upgrades of items. The first is the cost for the upgrade. This cost depends on the new level of the item and the number of perks it will gain, and can be expensive. It can also be expensive to upgrade an item to a better tier (such as Explorer > Champion, or Veteran > Heroic).

The second is the price of the materials required to upgrade. Success Rate

You can also select a safeguard that will protect your item in the event of failure. The cost of this protection will differ however it will always be less expensive than the cost of purchasing a new item. The safeguard can be used once per upgrade, and it will not expire until it is re-used.

The interface for the item upgrader is a little confusing, but not impossible to navigate. The main menu appears on the left side and the upgrade window is on the right. The arrows on the left of the UI indicate the various steps during the upgrade process. Click the question mark icon to receive assistance if you're unsure what you're doing. The upgrade process can take as long as five minutes.
