It was probably around autumn 2022 that Kikuno Tsukasa Sake Brewery, the oldest sake brewery in Iwate Prefecture, located in Konya-cho, Morioka City, moved from Morioka City to Shizukuishi-cho. It is one of the buildings that has created the townscape that retains the atmosphere of a castle town, so I was wondering what would happen to it.

In 2021, due to worsening management, the business was transferred to Koraku Co., Ltd., which operates pachinko and slot machines. Personally, I would like to see the renovation in a way that preserves the townscape, but maybe a high-rise apartment building will be built there. I will keep an eye on how it goes.
