Diablo 4 Item Upgrades

The item upgrade allows players to raise the item level for equippable items like trinkets, weapons, and armor over a certain threshold. You can upgrade items at any NPC that accepts the appropriate currency.

Slots are used to upgrade components into equipment in order to gain attributes and bonuses, as well as other effects. Most of these upgrades are slot-restricted, but a few are universal.

Another option is to develop an application that checks the requirements for upgrading an item prior to allowing it to be upgraded. This method is suitable for systems with a small number of items that can be upgraded and a minimal upgrade dependency. A sword can be upgraded from Sword+1 to Sword+2.
