Line-up

Turn Back, the band's third studio album is an ode to the classic sextet format, and an even more consistent and powerful album with a sharper edge. The more experimental sound of Turn Back was a reflection of the maturation in the group. The drummer Bobby Kimball's increasing ability to play was evident in the vocals of Joseph Williams, who had become more confident and mature.
