The sequel to Supergiant Games 2020 roguelike Hades is expected to be released in the year 2019. It's an ambitious move that increases the stakes and offers deeper look into familial politics.

Melinoe returns to kill Chronos the titan of time. She'll encounter new gods and specters, including the personification of light Apollo, the goddess of witchcraft Hecate, and the deity of retribution Nemesis.

1. Hades 2 Technical test

However, those selected for the technical test will be unable to carry over their progress into the Early Access build. Supergiant plans to "reset the game from the start" once it reaches Early Access, so no save data from the playtest will transfer over.

2. Hades 2 Early Access

Hades 2 is not only visually stunning, but it also introduces new characters and features to the game that will improve your experience and challenge you in ways you've never imagined. Alongside the new gods, shades, and items that are found in the Underworld there's a range of items you can find and upgrade using Incantations. This system of constant upgrades is present throughout every run. Melinoe is able to craft new spells and improve her Nocturnal Armor and Weapons. She can also harvest items from the Crossroads Camp for future runs, and unlock weapons, boons, and other tools.

Another great addition is the opening up of more open areas, Oscar Reys that offer different routes to take through each region and a constantly changing setting to explore. Each region is a unique take on the Underworld, with some more accessible than others, but all providing unique challenges that stand out against the usual offerings of other roguelites.

Supergiant also tweaked the gameplay a bit in the early access build, reducing some of the work required to reach certain upgrades, oscarreys and making it easier to move from one area to the next. Hades 2 is still far from being completed however, Supergiant has said that it will continue to refine the game and make it perfect.

Supergiant is famous for its ability to listen to its fans and address any issues that arise. This is evident in the way it dealt with the early-access release of Hades 2 Even though it's a long time before the full version becomes available, Hades 2 already feels like an appropriate addition to your gaming library.

3. Hades 2 Beta

Hades was a roguelike unlike the rest when it came out in the year 2018. The game won multiple awards and is considered one of the best games ever created. 4. Hades 2 Release Date

Hades 2 is now available in early access for PC after the success of a test.
