Our tester found the auto-lock a bit confusing, and since the handlebar doesn't lock in the position you push it into to the side, it struck her leg when she was using it. She also felt that the handlebar was a bit too short and especially with the large changing bag hanging from it.

The double stroller isn't as lightweight as other travel buggies. It has a full array of features and is among the most versatile double buggy travel system strollers on the market. It is compatible with two carrycots (available separately) and has several recline positions and an UV 50+ canopy. You can even add a bassinet to one or both seats to transform it into a travel system.

The four rubber composite tires are great for pavements and urban terrain. However, they were not made for off-roading. They struggled with gravel and long grass and there wasn't enough clearance between the wheel bracket and wheel which meant that mud could get stuck easily. However our testers still enjoyed using this buggy and it did manage to climb some beautiful hilly terrains.

Our testers found that the Nipper Double is incredibly easy to maneuver, even on uneven terrain or when turning in an area with a lot of traffic. The feature that the seats can be reclined independently was hugely appreciated.

They also liked that the hoods were able to be moved back and forward and back, making them much easier to adjust in the sun or for wind protection. They didn't provide as much coverage as the Baby Jogger City Mini Hoods. It's worth carrying an extra rain cover in case.

Overall, our test participants loved the way the Nipper Double made it possible for them to take their twin strollers for newborns girls Sydney and Lyla on a variety of adventures, from seeing wildlife in the woods, to rush to the park for a quick playdate. They were also awed by how comfortable and spacious the two seats are, with plenty of space for growing toddlers to sprawl out in. Our testers did mention, however, that the lack of parent-facing seating and the inability of using car seats in the buggy was a disadvantage, and they would have liked to see more storage space for shopping and other equipment.
