The Babyzen YOYO2 has built a reputation as the ultimate light-weight buggy for city dwellers and jet-setters alike, due to its extremely nimble handling and fold that fits in aeroplane overhead luggage. The bent fabric bassinet, the base YOYO2 and the 6+ months colour pack combine to create a sleek pushchair with a delicate, elegant aesthetic. The frame's base weight is less than a kilo, and is so lightweight that you can lift it from the box with just one hand.

The hood, for example is able to snap onto the YOYO2 in a reassuring way. It is also machine washable at 30deg which helps prevent the stains that result from smushed carrot puffs and rice cakes. It can be used as a pram from birth using the Newborn Pack or bassinet, or converted to a stroller after 6 months using the YOYO Connect additional chassis.

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a fantastic choice for parents looking for a stroller that can be used in a variety of ways. The Evenflo Pivot Xplore can be transformed from a stroller to the wagon by turning the handle. Parents can then decide which one is the best fit for their needs. The wagon can fit two or more children between 6 months to 5 years old. It comes with a large storage basket that can hold all your necessities while on the go.

The Xplore comes with two canopy options that are able to rotate from front to back, ensuring adequate sun protection for all family members. It also has a footwell that's not as deep or large as some wagons, so it might not be comfortable for long trips or napping.

The frame of the Xplore wagon is solid and sturdy, but it doesn't bend as much as some other wagons we have tried. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the competition and does not close tightly when folded. It is easy to maneuver however, and is able to fit through narrow 28 inches doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents who are looking for a secondary stroller that's priced reasonably. It scored well in our Strollers and Multiples Test for weight and folded dimensions. This means it's lightweight and compact when folded and easy to move and store into a car trunk. It also has a multi-position reclined seat and a cup holder for the parent. Other key features include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels, as well as two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

It performed better in our push and turn test than a lot of the other strollers we tested, but was nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades on it were among the smallest of all strollers we tested. They only cover the top and don't have windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a more extensive canopy.

It comes with a lightweight Mico 30 infant seat, a car-base that stays in the car and a reversible baby carriage.

It's really easy to maneuver, and the one-hand reclining of the seat as well as the huge shopping basket make it easy for parents to get their child in and out quickly. This compact pushchair can handle all day bumps and doorways easily.

The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward direction, or they can swivel. This is useful when navigating rough terrain. When we walked through the stony trail, we let them move and it handled this fairly well although it did seem slightly bumpier than other models on test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is famous for their three-wheeled, all-terrain Jogging pushchairs, however they also offer a great assortment of strollers with four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most well-known model. It is simple to fold and fits easily into the car's boot even with a carrycot attached.

It weighs more than other strollers we tried, but because it comes with rubber composite wheels it feels solid and well-made. It is easy to maneuver across different terrains and even with two kids with shopping bags and other things.

Both the carrycot and seat have hoods that can be removed to reveal a UV50+ sun canopy extension. They are sturdy and waterproof, in contrast to other hoods for prams, which can be blown back onto toddlers faces.

It's not the biggest of storage space, however it does come with a huge basket that's big enough to hold a changing bag and plenty of groceries. You can also connect it with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a travel system for babies up to 20 lb (car seat and adapters sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a good choice if you want to take a stroller on the move.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was an infant stroller that captivated the hearts of many parents when it first debuted. It's a stroller made of aluminum which can be used from the infant's earliest days through. It has a number of stand-out features including the possibility of flipping the seat between parent and the world, a large UPF 50+ canopy that has a flip out eyeshade and a spacious basket as well as an adjustable handlebar.

The chassis is equipped with a built-in suspension system that helps reduce the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are constructed of tough foam and reduce punctures. Our tester found it to be smooth to push and was able to maneuver it through narrow streets without difficulty.

It folds automatically and locks in just four steps. It can also be rolled and raised for easier transportation down the stairs or in the trunk of the car. It also comes with a travel system ready with the option to include a car seat or carrycot using the included adaptors. The brakes come with a single buggy with buggy board action and are colour coded. They also work with flip-flops.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget single pushchair is extremely easy to use and has great dual suspension, one-hand fold and a convenient carry strap. It's also very light and robust. The seat is reclined in many positions and comes with a built-in double-breathable mattress that can be used for babies from birth.

The canopy/seat comes with two large sun visors that are fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't ideal as it’s not as quiet as Velcro, and can cause sleepy babies to wake up.

The Duet is a side-byside stroller and can be set up to accommodate twins or other siblings (up to 22kg maximum per seat). It's compatible with two infant car seats and even can be used with carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can face each other or turn around and face their parents, potentially cutting down on sibling rivalries over who gets to sit with dad and mom. It comes with a large gear tray, a bottle holder and snack trays. It also comes with an automatic frame lock and a compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.

The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger for parents who love to be active. It is one of the lightest strollers that you can buy your child. It also comes with excellent safety features, like the 5-point safety harness and wrist safety strap. It also has a twist hand brake that's different than the lever type that is found on other models.

The seat is very comfortable and provides a wide area to sit. However the seat's isn't as deep as those of other joggers (it's only about 10") The storage bin is equipped with a zippered cover to help keep items safe. It can hold up to 10 lbs that is enough for most diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters for most infant car seats and bassinets however, you can use them from the first day with adapters that will fit brands like BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It is easy to fold and put together in 5-10 minutes without any tools. The instruction manual is easy to comprehend and contains multiple languages.
